Dancing with danger
This sensational South American festival of colourful parades is famous for its Tinku dances which represent the fight between good and evil. The original Tinku dances were more of a combat than a dance and it was considered that the more blood spilled the richer the harvest would be. But nowadays the Festive Tinku is a much more pleasant experience and has been accepted as a cultural dance in the whole nation of Bolivia with dancers performing combat like movements to Tinku music.
